Released on the tenth anniversary of Porsche South Africa CEO Toby Venter acquiring Kyalami, 60 Years of Porsche Racing at Kyalami celebrates the brand’s incredible successes at the Circuit over six decades. A Porsche won the circuit’s opening 9 Hour in 1961.Its successors dominated endurance races at Kyalami with the last international victory taken at the SRO IGTC championship 2019 Kyalami 9 Hour. 

60 Years of Porsche Racing at Kyalami covers all the Porsche cars, engines and drivers that raced throughout the iconic circuit’s glorious 60-year history. It covers all the Porsche participation at the 9 Hour and other Kyalami endurance races in detail. The book also features all the Porsche powered Formula 1 that raced at Kyalami, the Porsche 944 Turbo Cup Series, local Porsche championships, and much more. 

It is all captured in over 500 quality mostly never previously published images. Each photograph also has a detailed caption in both English and German. 60 Years of Porsche Racing at Kyalami also includes Forewords by Toby Venter, Derek Bell, Sarel van der Merwe and six times Kyalami 9 Hour winner David Piper.  

Authored by Denis Klopper, edited by Roger Houghton and published by SA Motorsport Memories, the high-quality 360-page large format hard cover 60 Years of Porsche Racing at Kyalami has Forewords by Toby Venter, Sarel van der Merwe, Derek Bell and David Piper. Hendrik Verwoerd, Stuart Johnston, Roger McCleery and Andre De Kock are guest writers. 

60 Years of Porsche Racing at Kyalami is available in a 500 copy limited run of the hard cover large format Standard Edition. Each signed by the author and available at R2,195, including courier delivery within South Africa.

 Only 100 copies of the Collector’s Edition with a dust cover in a protective sleeve, are available at R3,795 including courier delivery within South Africa.
