The South African Motor Clubs Association will host the 41st annual Angela’s Picnic at Riversands Farm Village this coming Sunday 7 April 2024. Open to all classes of classic, vintage, veteran, and modern cars, the only proviso is that owners make a donation to support Hospice Wits at the entrance.

Established by the enigmatic late classic car fan extraordinaire Angela Heinz in 1983, the picnic has been an annual petrol head attraction ever since. Often copied but never bettered, SAMCA’s Angela’s Picnic is a fine opportunity for car fans and the public at large to see, discuss, and enjoy a vast array of notable motor cars in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, chat with owners and renew connections with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

The 2024 SAMCA’s Angela’s Picnic happens from 8 am at the popular Riversands Farm Village on Rose Road, Knoppieslaagte in Midrand.
