Habot grease line Brugarolas has a 140-year rep

There was once a time, when most cars and machines had nipples. Little valves to which you’d fix a gun to grease the bearing, axle or whatever else beyond it, needed periodic oiling remote to a machine’s lubrication system. Grease and bearing technology have of course moved on over the years and there are less nipples these days. But grease remains a huge industry sector all on its own.

Proudly South African Habot Lubricants do not make greases per se, but rather rely on Spanish world leader Brugarolas to cater for its vast clientele’s greasing needs.  Established in 1885, Brugarolas’ laboratory developed products to cater for a huge variety of general, chemical and industrial applications with more than 3,000 products full of history and technology sold in more than 60 countries around the world.

Brugarolas greases meet the most demanding global standards and requirements, including coveted IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, ISO-9002 and EAQF-94 automotive certifications and carry a full guarantee. Brugarolas was furthermore awarded the Carbon Footprint Calculation Seal for sustainable production by the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

Habot distributes a broad range of Brugarolas greases for every specific application and will supply any grease or product from the vast Brugarolas range. Brugarolas grease products spread from automotive greases to high speed, long-life high temperature chemical resistant greases.

There are also Brugarolas greases for electric motors and gears of every kind, from crankcase greases to undercarriage and open gears, never mind taps and valves, and greased cables. Available in silicone greases, PTFE, calcium sulfonate, and polyurea greases, you name it, Habot has the Brugarolas grease for your nipple… or application.

Based in the town of Rubí near Barcelona, Brugarolas delivers more than 50,000 tonnes of its diverse products per year. Its logistics and distribution warehouse has excellent road and rail connections, allowing for rapid access to the port of Barcelona, Spain and the rest of the world, including direct to Habot in South Africa.
